"We had an excellent stay at Lapland Hotels Ounasvaara Chalets and everything exceeded our expectations. The staff kindly allowed us an early check-in at 12:30 PM, which was greatly appreciated and set a very positive tone for our stay. The overall environment and ambiance were outstanding—peaceful, well-designed, and perfectly aligned with the Lapland experience. The room quality was excellent, very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We were especially impressed by the thoughtful details for families; providing sleds for children was a wonderful touch and made our stay even more enjoyable. As a very minor suggestion for improvement: we stayed in Room 21, and in the sauna, there seemed to be some heat loss from the lower section, so the temperature was not as warm as expected. This is a small detail and did not affect our overall satisfaction. Overall, everything was perfect, and we would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit. Highly recommended."

"The room was great very spacious for 2 person you can even cooked prepare your food, the toilet was clean and the sauna was amazing 👍… but the most stood out is the place Santa Claus village is like a winter wonderland it was amazing place the lights during the night will amaze you. "

"The whole experience was exceptional. Beautiful facilities, staff were terrific and the glass igloo was perfection. Short walk to Santa’s village meant there were plenty of activities too. I loved everything about this place."

"We had a lovely one night stay here in Jan 2026. Its a really good base, perfectly located in the city centre, easy walking distance to anywhere including most activity pickups. The buffet breakfast was really good and had everything you could want. We had dinner in the Bull Bar & Grill downstairs which had a really nice atmosphere, and very convenient as its just downstairs in the hotel, so you dont have to go outside! We had a burger and ribs and both were really good. The lounge area by reception is really tastefully done, and we enjoyed sitting there a few times enjoying the comfy seating and free flavoured water / blueberry juice. Our room was a little small (not much space to put suitcases/unpack) but the beds were comfortable, and a nice bathroom. Would happily stay there again."
