Overall not a bad stay. We stayed 4 nights. The housekeeping could have been better and top up of tea/coffee/milk didnt happen. The family room had a great view of the river and lumberjack bridge. Location is great with lots of shops/cafes/restaurants nearby. Bus to Santa claus village leaves right outside. Lots of options for breakfast. Swimming pool is on the cold side when you first get in but you get used to it, maybe too cold for very small kids.

Very nice hotels with renovated rooms. Got a family room facing the lake in the second building above the Lapland Safari adventures shop. Elevator actually went straight into the Lapland Safari shop so I didn’t have to exit the building and wear tons of clothes in order to start my activities. The staff was super friendly and the hotel is close to the city center, shops and restaurants. The bus stop is right next to the building so if you didn’t want to use Uber, public transport was right there. I was traveling for work so needed a place that allowed me to work and have fun on my days off. The hotel was great for my 4night stay. Highly recommend for business or solo travelers like myself. Warm, renovated, cozy rooms with good WiFi and easy access to all Rovaniemi offers.

Wonderful hotel, our room was modern and clean and fitted 5 of us in (2A, 3C). The bus from the airport and to SCV stops right outside. Our room overlooked the river, there are playgrounds and shops within walking distance. We didn’t eat at the restaurant as the menu wasn't to our taste, but there are loads of places to eat nearby. But the breakfast had a good selection, and we all managed to find something to fill up on for the day! Also to note there are multiple playrooms for kids in both the restaurant and main reception area, which our kids loved! Would absolutely rebook this hotel in a heartbeat!

Room was much nicer then the pictures make them look, was expecting budget travel lodge style from the photos bust actually really well done, good quality and lovely and warm, view was beautiful. I've seen comments about the tunnel, but it's not really that long and saves you going outside in the freezing temps to get to breakfast or the bar. Staff were lovely, friendly and so helpful. Bus stop for Santa village/ park / airport just outside hotel (only real stop in the city for it) so perfectly located, breakfast was good and varied plenty of options for the whole family. If we were to come back we'd absolutely look to stay here again.

Check in was a complete shambles ! We booked a superior room ? The room was so small we had no room to move around , with a suitcase of 28inch a medium case we could not open the bathroom door , no safe , no phone or anyway of contacting reception, we asked for the room to be made up upon our return they had put a roll of toilet paper on the bed , the only thing that had been done.
