"This location is within 8 minute walk to the Colosseum. There are also a lot of food options on the street this place is located and souvenir shops for people who want to pick something up. All major locations are within a 30 minute walk and the Vatican is within a 45 minute walk from here. It was all flat and wasn’t any trouble getting around from this location. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great place to stay, the owner is also extremely friendly and easy to work...

"The staff at this hotel was very nice. We were arriving after 7pm and they left us a key in an envelope as the front desk closed earlier. The room was great - the bed and pillows very comfortable. Overall well worth it. Very short walk the Colosseum. Lots of public transportation. Close to the LGBT spots in Rome. Also check out the Voodoo Bar near by - great lounge/club for all. "

"We had a group that ended up booking all the rooms in the flat! They view from the rooftop terrace was beautiful. The hotel was easy to access. Clean and organized! Any questions had was answered and the hosts were always reachable! This is an amazing place with location. The restaurants below were friendly and delicious. The rooms are sound proof. We heard nothing!!"

"The bartender Jose was awesome !! After walking all day, he would make me chamomile tea to help me relax and have a good night's sleep. Everyone was very kind to me and made me delicious cappuccinos. The room had a beautiful view, and the bed was very comfortable, with soft pillows and a comfortable mattress. A bonus was the mirror in the bathroom for doing my makeup. The hotel is close to Termini Station and the Central Market, where I ate the best pasta with truffles!"

"Honestly it was one of the most amazing hotels I have ever stayed in in Europe. Relais Santa Maria was in the perfect location in Monti, surrounded by small Italian restraunts. It was a 10 minute walk to colosseum and overall just a 10/10. They had a daily cleaning and 24/7 reception. I would definitely stay in this hotel again if I’m back in Rome ! "

"Amazing room in. A very grand characterful building with priceless views over the Forum. I loved sitting on the balcony drinking my coffee. The room was spotless and very comfortable and a lovely superking bed. It was very lively and vibrant outside but as soon as you shut the doors it was silence. We stayed there for the marathon and couldn’t recommend it highly enough for comfort, facilities and location. "

"Such a great place. Spacious and cool architecture. Massive bath tub and room. Excellent location. You walk out the front door and the Colosseum is right there. Everything is walkable. We even walked to Vatican city. We found excellent food once we got out of the tourist areas. So much to explore and having a comfortable safe place to sleep made rhe trip even more enjoyable. "
