"A very nice functional hotel in an area of Kyoto that you can get to several other areas (Nishiki Market, Gion, Hagashiyama and more) fairly easily either on foot or a short taxi ride. The staff we extremely helpful and friendly. If you are looking for luxury and extra comfort, this is not that place, but it was comfortable for me and I would highly recommend for any traveler that wants a solid place to stay. "

"At least three convenient stores around the hotel. 15-minutes walk to the Nijojo Castle and the Imperial Palace. 5-minutes walk to Karasuma Oike subway station. Room is clean and good sound proof. "

"The hotel was in a convenient location to commute to attractions like Arashiyama Bamboo Grove (the city bus stop was less than 500m away), Fushimi Inari or Nara Park (train from Sanjo Station). Staff was welcoming and helpful from reception to departure. I arrived an hour before check-in and thanks to their storage lockers, was able to leave my luggage and get started on my exploring of Kyoto without much delay or hassle! "Perfect location so super easy to get around in walking distance to Nishki market and close to the train station. Staff were all very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Rooms were clean and cosy, comfy bed and good aircon to keep the room a nice temperature . Overall a lovely hotel and I would definitely recommend staying here when in Kyoto!"
