"Nice"

"The hotel was well kept; however, the rooms were oddly configured and had limited space for storing personal items (i.e., no bureaus, very small closets, and no vanity space in some of the bathrooms). The daily snacks were a nice touch and delicious. We traveled with a 9 yr old, and options for children at the hotel were very limited. There are restrictions on pool usage for children which was not advertised. The staff were hit or miss. Restaurant staff were knowledgeable and friendly; however, the front desk staff appeared annoyed when we asked for recommendations and were limited in options they did recommend. The exception to this was Vicente and one other woman (we didn’t get her name, but she had a lip piercing). Those two were extremely helpful and kind. Overall, the hotel was conveniently located and a good option for couples. It really should be advertised as an adult’s only option. "

"Excellent choice when staying in Ponta Delgada. Clean, well-appointed rooms, and friendly, helpful staff. Decent buffet breakfast. Location was just far enough outside the city center to be quiet for sleeping, but an easy walk. Close to the highway for easy access to the rest of the island. Tip: use the free street parking outside the hotel and avoid the hotel parking charge."

"The staff were wonderful and were able to accommodate us into our room early. The location is in the center of historic city centre and walking distance to most city attractions. The breakfast buffet was small but had most items needed to give a good start for the day."
