"When we pulled up, I thought we were at the wrong place. The casino is just slot machines and the “hotel” is more like a truckers motel. The lake is nice if you walk across the parking lot, and the rooms were decent if you didn’t open your curtains."

"We just needed an overnight stay and this was the least expensive option at booking due to major functions happening in Reno. Walking up to the hotel the stucco is peeling so it didn't seem to promising. The gal who checked us in was the only staff we spoke to and she was nice and helpful. The room could use some TLC. The vent in the bathroom didn't have a switch so it steamed up horribly, even with the door open. Toilet was set so low it really required thigh strength to stand back up. Room only had one nightstand lamp even though there were 2 nightstands. The only other light was a lamp on the desk. They do provide a very basic breakfast which wasn't too bad. Cereal, oatmeal, breakfast biscuit (sausage and egg), sugar free yogurt, milk, coffee and some juices. Would I stay here again - probably not, unless it was my only option."

"The staff was outstanding. The Customer Service was good as well. The Hotel is really in need of updating! Toilet barely flushed, the tile was buckling, the carpet was rippling causing a possible tripping situation. The Casino has very rough clientele! Lots of Homeless in the casino. Lots of homeless on the streets surrounding the hotel. We will honestly not return to this hotel when coming to Reno."
