But if you want a warm, comfortable place to rest your head in the middle of the town with friendly staff and great food, then look no further"

"Beautiful wee place above a pub. The food in the pub was amazing. Would go again just for the food. Staff very friendly.
No parking at the hotel. Only a few minutes away by car but a steep hill back up to the hotel with bags.

"Our 3rd visit in just over 12 months, we love it here. When the suns out it’s even better, being able to sit and have a drink in the manicured gardens. Of course the highlight is the food, simply superb, a little pricey, but worth it for a special occasion."

Small hotel but perfect for a short break. If tall maybe mention on booking as some rooms are second floor and have eaves which could present a challenge!
We stayed in Room 7 which had all we needed but was compact. However hotel good value and suited us perfectly. Would stay again."

"The lift was out of use which was not ideal. My guest struggles to walk after smashing her ankle last May and we were on the top floor. The receptionist did move us to floor two but we arrived Friday and left Sunday - but the lift was still out of order.

"I would not stay again, our double bedroom had very tired decor, peeling paint, lots of dust and cobwebs, and overlooked a flat roof/ fire escape. Seems like the room had been slapped with lots of green paint in attempts to modernise it. Not sure how the accommodation can be described as luxury. If we had been staying for more then one night I would have left early. The parking is very limited, but that is stated when booking. Staff at reception were friendly when booking in."
