"From my airport shuttle ride to the hotel to checkout, I had a positive experience. The front desk staff person welcomed me. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet with srambled eggs, saugage, waffles, yogurt, fresh fruit, and a variety of breads and cereals was included in the room price. The dining area and lobby were well maintained."

"The breakfast was great—Ana prepared an excellent made-to-order meal each morning. The room was clean, though it’s starting to show signs that upgrades and repairs are needed. The staff overall was wonderful. One major concern, however, is the parking fee. Since the hotel isn’t located in the city, there didn’t seem to be a reasonable justification for charging that amount to park. The location is great for access, and low traffic."

"I’d requested an early check in, but arrived only about 20 minutes before check in time. I was given a 2 queen room when I booked a king. When I called downstairs they told me it was because I’d “checked in early.” It would have been nice if the clerk had mentioned the substitution, because I’d have waited 15-20 minutes for a king. I also asked the clerk what the closest metro station with parking was and he said there wasn’t one. That I should take the hotel shuttle. That’s a lie because there’s a station with ample parking two miles away. The room itself was fine except for a very tired and pilled bedspread on one bed and a dirty robe in the bathroom. The toilet ran incessantly all night. This Westin isn’t as nice as it once was. It’s always been our go-to when flying in and out of Dulles. Might be time to make a change. "

"We visit the area frequently and have stayed at many different hotels. This is the best - excellent staff, having a mini kitchen and having breakfast provided are both very convenient amenities. We have stayed at Homewood now three times and I highly recommend."
