"I don't understand charging for a room that is ready and you're just 1 hr ahead of checkin time. The room was the worst I've ever been in, the size of a closet plus there wasn't a plug in to utilize the blowdryer and the sink was backing up. You could barely get around the bed and I don't understand the shower door design, sprays water all over the counter, no matter how you pointed the water. We did get moved the next day to a larger room."

"The lodge is next to the river, it was frozen over w\ snow, perfect for watching the dog sledders come by. All four nights there, we saw the Northern LIghts. The room, lodge, food, ice hotel and adventures were awesome"

"The property is old and needs a lot of repairs. The room was tiny— barely enough room for two people to move around. The tv did not work, nor did the electrical outlets on the desk. The beds were small and hard. There was never anyone at the reception desk except once. I wish we had chosen another hotel for our two-night stay in Kirkenes. I would not recommend this property. "

"This place is magical. The cabins are cozy, clean, warm and adorable. The staff are all friendly, outgoing, helpful and kind. We took their added on excursion to see Northern Lights (never a guarantee) and were lucky enough to find them - and then saw them again back at the hotel. Our stay was really a wonderful one. "
