"Property is beautiful old hacienda. With huge rooms. Do not expect to much modernity. It is rustic, beautiful inside and outside. Owners are very nice people. Buffet next to it was so yummy, not expensive. Transportation was safe and very secure with Mister Miguel Blancas. He was our tours guide. We visited so many amazing places for a reasonable pay. I wil recommend you to get in this stunning town."

"We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay at El Santuario! The location is breathtaking. We went Monday through Wednesday, so the resort itself was pretty empty. We felt like we had the whole place to ourselves! The room was clean, the view was gorgeous, and the bed was comfortable. We went to the Spa and felt total bliss. It was magical. For any non-Spanish speaking travelers who come here, it's important to know some basic Spanish because we only interacted with a few staff that spoke English....
