"Picked this because it was near the airport and advertised a shuttle service. It didn't have one but taxi easy and similar cost (15 euro). Reception staff very helpful despite v litle English. Taxi into Santander Old Town also 15 euro. Small onsite parking OK for my motorcycle. Hotel a litlle dated and maybe due for a refresher."

"Room was not very large but packed in kitchenette and ensuite bathroom with small veranda with view over the nature reserve opposite. Staff were welcoming enthusiastic and very helpful they made the stay so good. The roof top bar was good to sit in the sun although the bar only serves in the summer. "

"We have stayed several times now for a couple of days to enjoy the north of Spain whilst travelling. Staff are always friendly and helpful and the apartments are always spotless and fitted out to a high standard Bar and restaurant are good with nice outside area to take a tipple and food, breakfast is very good. Some nice walking from the door which is great if travelling with a four legged friend as it is a dog friendly apartment and 20-25 mins to a number of beaches. Parking is no problem...

"Wonderfully quiet and comfortable hotel. Spacious room, huge bed, good pillows, exceptionally quiet despite being central. Lovely helpful staff. Superb breakfast buffet, nice bar. Secure underground parking. Well located for city centre and port. Will definitely use again if visiting Santander."

"Getting to the apartments is not easy. If using public transport, I recommended you get the bus S1 from Santander bus station to Astillero , costs €1.80 disembark at Avenue Bilbao 75 (about 15 stops) and then walk 15 mins to what looks like an industrial wasteland. I wish there had been a sign on the approach to Calle Arday to confirm you were going the right way. Reception is closed 1pm to 5pm for public access so if you arrive at these times you wont get in. There is no terrace to sit out...
