"Wonderful stay at Stanton Manor, management and staff were very attentive, excellent service, rooms were spacious and clean, dined in the restaurant and the food was excellent this was also the case with the breakfast which offered a very good choice. The bar area offered a homely feel and a good selection of beers wines and spirits. Stanton Manor offered plenty of parking, attached to the hotel to the rear is some seating areas giving views over the very large well maintained garden "

"Hotel clean and tidy.Location perfect for exploring Salisbury, staff very friendly, breakfast very good and restaurant food reasonably priced, fresh and tasty. Hotel looking a bit tired and in need of some love and attention regarding decor, some carpets, etc. Lovely to sit outside on the river bank with a drink in hand or if the weather not favourable in the restaurant looking out "

"I had a very large quiet room at the side of the building on the first floor. Number 9. The bed was wonderful , comfortable with good pillows. The building itself is an historical gem. The furnishings and renovated bathroom are top notch. Breakfast was included, There could be a bit more choice but adequate. Location for the Cathedral opposite couldn’t be more perfect. A great team at The Chapter house. Thank you . "

"Property a little tired but very clean and staff are very nice. Rooms functional we were upgraded to a beautiful view, only complaint the hearing was in a timer and the room was very cold. They gave us an electric heater which took the chill off. "

"Really enjoyable stay. I didn't realise they had no restuarant for the evening, however they do offer a shuttle service in to the town centre which will drop & collect you at a time that suits you"

"We've stayed in various hotels over the past several years - this is is certainly one of the best. All the people that work there are lovely, the room was excellent, and the good reasonably priced and very nice. Salisbury isn't too far from us, and since we enjoy the antique shops, I can see us staying here again."
