"I love bloc it is always clean and the staff excellent. I did have an issue this time though, having a bunk bed was not condusive for me being quite tall . This made for some discomfort being unable to sit at all in the room"

" Excellent airport hotel – unbeatable convenience I had an excellent stay at the Hampton by Hilton at Gatwick Airport. Three things really stood out. First, the convenience is hard to beat. The hotel is literally inside the airport at the North Terminal, which makes early flights or late arrivals completely stress‑free. Second, access is excellent. Thanks to the frequent and easy monorail service between the North and South terminals, the hotel works perfectly regardless of which terminal you’re flying from. Finally, the breakfast was great. A continental breakfast is available from 4:30am, ideal for early departures, and the traditional hot breakfast starts from 6:00am. Everything was well organised and good quality. Overall, a very comfortable and practical stay. I’d happily stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone flying from Gatwick."

"The member of the team that delivered my check-in process is a credit to the establishment. Unfortunately I did not catch her name, but she was efficient, informative, & relaxed. I received a free upgrade, and the room was excellent. Plenty of tea & coffee, a very large, very comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, and felt very secure. For the price I paid (£58) on a Saturday night it begs the question, why on earth would someone decide to stay at a Premier Inn, Travel-lodge etc. Really enjoyed the stay, would highly recommend."
