"Beautiful property and staff. The pool was incredible for the kids and for relaxing each day. Plenty of activities scheduled and staff were extremely friendly and professional. La Bottega restaurant was outstanding, however other restaurants saw long wait times for service and food at times."
"We stayed in the Waitui Club adult only part of the resort and let me tell you sitting by the pool having drinks and canapés brought to you every hour doesn’t get old. The staff are what makes the Sofitel special, everyone of them was helpful, pleasant and happy, being greeted with a “bula” everywhere we went was lovely. The food was top notch , the room was spotless every single day , there was an army of staff constantly keeping the place in great shape. A mini bar that was included in the price was appreciated when coming in from the heat and having a cold beer. I would highly recommend the Sofitel, especially the adults side which is a calm oasis compared to the family side. 5 Stars."
"Restaurant and pool area were very stylish, light and clean. Room was clean and more modern than expected and staff were very friendly and helpful. Shuttle service was excellent."
"The staff at the restaurant were lovely. We were only there one night and in the older beach front Bure's. These are 25 yrs old appx so great for budget / back packers. Old mattress but everything else there that we needed and no TV. The newer bures/apartments may have more. Taxi was $45 Fiji from the Airport - we were told $90 by reception to return to Denarau Island. We got it for $80 direct with the driver. So ask and negotiate. Also I asked for clarification with reception and I don't think they spoke English or didnt understand. Pictures are legit - large bathroom, good sized bedroom for 3 of us. I knew we were on our way to Sofitel so this was a stop over only and I was attracted to the ocean side Bure."
"Nice rooms with air con. Lovely surroundings and pool etc. cafe on site.Only tried one thing on dinner menu, this was not nice at all but other things mayve been ok. Spa treatments available. Lovely hot showers. "
