"Big, clean and modern rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is amazing and walking distance to Gion, restaurants and Nishiki area. We loved the coffee machine in the lobby too especially since we always started our day early when everything else was still closed."

"We stayed on the non remodeled side but the hotel is huge. There’s a restaurant on the first floor and it’s right across the street from the mall and Kyoto station. Definitely worth it. "

Lovely room, great bathtub, lovely welcome area with drinks and snacks and amazing breakfast / I tried all the local dishes including the silky tofu, beef Kobe curry and sticky rice, delicious french toast and wafers with red bean paste and chestnuts and the teriyaki sandwhiches. "My family of 6 stayed here for 5 days, 4 nights. The hotel is in a super convenient location. There is a path that connects the hotel directly to the train station. So clean and spacious. Amazing skin care/face wash/shampoo/conditioners provided. The hotel smells amazing. Rooftop access gives beautiful views of Kyoto. Would definitely stay here again. The hotel staff were very helpful and helped us ship our luggages from here to the next hotel in Osaka! Cannot praise this hotel enough."
