"We had a lovely time staying at hotel du cygne. It was easy to find from the Metro station and in an incredible location with access to all major Paris landmarks. There was no AC in the room but a very powerful fan so it felt cool and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and always available if you had questions. They spoke in both French and English. "Located in the safest 1st arrondissement in Paris, the nearest metro station is a 3-minute walk away. Châtelet – Les Halles station offers excellent transportation, and a large shopping mall is also located nearby, making it very convenient. The accommodation was exactly as pictured and is a great place to enjoy the typical Parisian scenery every day. It is close to many tourist attractions, so I highly recommend it to other travelers."

"we were impressed with the rooms. very quiet even nestled within the les halles. easily accessible to metro, numerous restaurants, and shopping. if any ambulation issues, need to consider that you have to climb 1 flight of stairs to get to elevator. overall, would easily come back to this hotel"

"Perfect for a short stay. Apartment is compact but tidy. We stayed as a family - four adults. Supermarket is opposite and plenty of lovely cafes close by. Louvre is easy walkable as is Pyramides Metro stop. Very secure and a quiet area so felt safe and slept well. Easy check in - instructions are very clear. Overall great value. "

"We stayed here for a week in January, during the annual clothing sales period. The street was thronged with Couture shoppers [mainly French & Korean tourists] in daylight but quiet and calm from evening to mid mornings. The apt was spotless, oh-so quiet, and very spacious for 2 people. The kitchenette with full refrigerator and microwave allowed us to stock up with & drinks for dinners or snacking. Our only issue was lack of any nearby services like groceries etc. The nearest Monprix’s or...

"Loved this hotel in centreville. I could walk to the Louvre and other places in the evenings after the tourist crowd is gone. Also good location for the metro ride to all the monuments luke the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, and other major monuments are all within walking distance."

"This is a small, older property which is inexpensive compared to other properties in the area. As long as you don't have too high expectations, this can be a pleasant and economical place to stay near Notre Dame, the Louvre and other tourist sites."

"The hotel’s location is incredible (metro stop right at the corner, walking distance to the Louvre, etc.), rooms are clean and kitchenette is very well-equipped. The property is quiet other than being able to hear the metro, but that’s not a big deal. I was a little nervous about there not being on-site reception, but messages were answered almost immediately, and the door codes for all three entrances made me feel very secure."
