The first room we were given smelled horrible, like a dead animal. The hallway was fine, it was just that room. We went to the front desk and the very nice gentleman immediately gave us a new room, which was fine.

For $300 a night this was a nightmare. I was so tired when we arrived. I couldn’t even address the issues that we ran into immediately, but when I was able to the staff was super nonchalant about everything and didn’t do anything to solve or fix the problems. The bathroom was disgusting. They were here in my towels. The tub was dirty, and there was also hair dirt and toothpaste stain all over the bathroom. There were stains on the floor beside the beds, and also some weird stain stains on the pillowcases. Will never stay here again. I thought Lawrence was pretty nice. Also, I forgot to mention if you do stay at this particular hotel on the first floor, be careful because if a larger person or a heavy footed person is in the room above you, you will hear them walking over top of your head when you are trying to sleep. It’s not far from everything but it’s not in the mix of everything either.

An 8-year-old property that seems almost brand new, thanks to an obvious attention to detail by management and a terrific staff. Our check in went smoothly and the breakfast the following morning was excellent. Only a few nits to pick about our stay in room 214: The desk lamp light wouldn't turn on and there was no digital clock in the room or night light in the bathroom, both of which would have been nice for these older travelers. The bath towels were also a bit past their prime and it would have been nice to have a shower bath gel dispenser along with t he shampoo and conditioner. Overall, though, we'd rate it 9.5 out of 10.

The breakfast was very good and the heat in the room worked well. No complaints at all. My only suggestion is the coffee. I used up my packets for the coffee maker in the room and I could not find any coffee available in the lobby. As an early riser and a coffee drinker I did miss not having coffee. Otherwise everything else was great.
