We love the location as it is right on the beach. We’ve stayed there many times and it has always been very clean. The motel is older and therefore the rooms are too, but again they are clean and comfortable. We were disappointed for the first time with this latest visit. The blinds were too old in the bedroom and main room. Part were bent and one window blind was broken and hung slightly down with only one corner of the blind that would lower so it was lopsided. The fridge is old, but worked. But, the left side of the fridge that was exposed to the kitchen was all scraped up. It looked horrible. We were shocked they rented that room.

We did the jacuzzi room with living room. We loved the view, had beautiful days, and the room was stocked with everything we needed. We 100% will be back. It felt kinda like a cabin on a beach vibe. WiFi was 425/50 in speed, more than good enough. The tub was awesome for my wife who really wishes she had a tub like this at home. We stayed 3 nights and she was in it each night. It was a very pleasant stay. Of note, there are 32 stairs DOWN to the room (up when you leave). While it was fine for us, mobility issues would be a concern if you were not steady on your feat. (Elderly/etc) This is a “just so you know”comment. It’s not bad, but it was a surprise. I needed an extension cord to reach my side of the bed for a CPAP device, and box to put it on as there isn’t a night stand. I had both with me so I was fine, but just a heads up if you sleep on the left side of the bed and use a medical device - so you are not caught off guard. This is just a note, not a criticism of the property, We loved it. We may make it a yearly birthday tradition for my wife! Can we just not go back to work next week and stay here!? Thank you so much for a great stay!

Staff - great. Older hotel, we stayed in the 2 story portion. Very clean for it's age. Bed comfy, ocean view good. Only two issues were plumbing related, which hopefully will be fixed promptly. One - dripping sound from upstairs, either a neighbor left the sink dripping overnight, or there's a small leak they are aware of. Also, the shower went cold in less than 2 minutes, so we waited till we got home to shower. Given how nice the staff were, we may stay there again in the future.

The kitchen was nice to have its in need of updating throughout its a vintage motel on the hillside but good price and great ocean view. The staff was very nice and we brought our large dog with us and he enjoyed as much as we did.

We come here, same room, every year as do many retired people who love the retro style of accommodations! I grew up in this style of home with my family and now I have grown, I love returning to my childhood by staying at the Ester Lee for a week every year. Nothing fancy, actually just the opposite, but the view…..AMAZING….the comfort…AMAZING…! Our 1 week on the coast as our home away from home!!!! LOVE IT HERE.

We paid for a one room with kitchenette and they said they didnt have such a room. They but us in a single room without a kitchenette then they changed us to a single room with kitchenette not one that we booked. They said your information is incorrect and have never had a one bedroom with kitchenette. Very disappointed. Paid too much for the room we received
