We could not eat any of the food on the breakfast item. Home two used to be so much better and have vegetarian breakfast sandwiches for us to eat and there was nothing. It also looked like everything was so old or it was out. Our room had dirty towels when we checked in and even when we checked in for our one bedroom suite to fit our whole family called ahead and make sure they had it ready when we checked in at 5 AM. They did not one room they put us in two separate room, splitting up my family. The curtains were broken in our room.

Combine a perfect location with a comfortable friendly staff and you have a winning hotel. NuLu is an up and coming neighborhood with so many cool shops, restaurants and bars. This hotel is a perfect location to experience all of Louisville. Parking was a breeze, travel to and from the hotel was easy and the hotel is well maintained with great staff. We will be back for sure.

This stay was not great, to say the least. The area is sketchy. We watched someone from our hotel window try to break into our car. We arrived at the check in time of 3:00 and our room wasn’t ready until after 4. We had to ask for trash bags, dishwasher soap, and toilet paper, that should have been in the rooms. The staff was not overly nice like I have experienced at other Home 2 locations. Unfortunately, this is one of the worst experiences I have had staying at a Homes 2.

The room was fairly clean, but there are areas that could use attention. There were finger prints on one of the mirrors and surrounding frame and some other areas could use a bit more cleaning. The room itself was a bit beat up. There was table on some of the walls and ceilings as if someone had a party and hung up banners, there were lots of scrapes and scuffs on the walls, the carpet could definitely be replaced, the blinds appear to be water stained with water damage on the ceiling and in an area near the bathroom. It's a great location, but the room could definitely use a refresh.

Pros: Great Location. Clean room. Good Breakfast. Cons: I paid for a King Bedroom and was given a Queen. The key card machine wasn't working when we arrived, and we had to wait about 20 minutes to be walked to our room to be let in. We also had to pay to park, which I don't remember seeing that when I booked the hotel. Would I stay again? Yes. But this trip was not without surprises and issues.

The room was a great size for our family of 5, enough towels for us and breakfast was enough to get us started. Unfortunately, those are the only positives. Negatives- we were delayed on leaving so we arrived later than planned and the employee at front desk seemed annoyed. I asked about parking and she pointed to the sign, saying I need to use an QR code and back lot was full. The parking lot was extremely small so we had to pay to park across the street. House keeping never came by our room to switch out towels or take our garbage on our second day. I had to take our towels down to switch them out. The beds were rough and the kitchenette consisted of a microwave and decent size fridge. The pool was closed which was not posted on hotel site so boys were a little bummed on that one.
