The room had a musky smell I had to asked for a air freshener.,the bathroom needs a detox cleaning there are built up grease that build up from over time usage of the bathroom that hadn’t been cleaned popularly from the beginning,the hot water was effectively because when hot water pipe is turned on for the shower the water pressure is in the lower pipe and not the shower head for you to get a good shower,the stuff tired their best to help the best way they could, but it’s the management who has to do better,the air conditioning was good though

I like being right in Port Antonio so this is not for me. The TV hardly ever worked for us to watch Netflix. I think it was because of the wifi. The room was perfect for cooking our own food.

Worst Stay Ever

This is the worst hotel I ever booked on this website I would never recommend this location to anyone It is not secured, they turn the hot water off so you have to shower in cold water. I would never stay at this location again. The reason I stayed was because I am not familiar with Portland and never had anywhere else to stay

The room I got did not have air conditioning, so I upgraded to one which have air conditioning, it did not worth the money, locals could see you entering the room from the outside, there was loud sounds system playing from midday to 3am in the morning, I assumed this take place every weekend, I would not recommend this place.

This property is in really bad shape. Need to shut down and fully renovated. Mould in rooms, uncomfortable beds, tv didn’t work, woke up to no electricity or water the following day. Mildew on curtains. Situated in a very loud area, can’t sleep. For $120 US - a complete nightmare. Never again

The view was good and the staff was very nice. However, the AC did not work, no water pressure and iron board came in pieces. For the price charged, the owner should pay people to stay there. Paradise Inn had very little paradise to talk about.

DO NOT STAY HERE !

My sister and I were supposed to spend our entire stay here. (10 nights) When we first got there, we were put in the wrong room. After a verbal tussle with the front desk clerk, showing him we were telling the truth about reservation he tried to justify the situation, making it seem like he did us a favor and put us in a "better room". It still wasn't we'd booked and planned for. We specifically asked for a balcony, and we were put on the ground level floor. We could hear people walking and talking right by the bed, it was sooo uncomfortable! If it hadn't been so late by the time all this was done, we would've left that night. When we woke up the next morning we just wanted out!! It was so difficult to get a refund. At first we were told that we couldn't receive one, then after we called the POLICE the person with the authority to issue the refund was out of the country and was not answering the phone. When he finally did call back, he was extremely rude and argumentative. Such a disaster!! We will never stay here again. Pleasant staff, horrible management.
