I didn’t end up staying there because it was terrifying at check in. There was police there investigating an incident with another guest. It was dirty and unkept. There were shady looking people all around and outside and I felt extremely unsafe staying there.

First notable item. When I walked up to check in at the front desk, there were 3 people in the room and no one was really acknowledging that I had even walked in the door. Finally, the person behind the desk asked if they could help. Another person was having a conversation with someone on a media system, and I couldn’t hear half of what the guy asked me. I got to my room everything seemed to be fine. I plugged in my phone charger and it didn’t work so I moved it to another outlet and that didn’t work. So then I made the assumption that my cord had gone bad. Ultimately, that wasn’t the case. Apparently everything on the wall next to the bed was not working. I decided to go to bed and watch some TV. I crawl into bed and on the wall next to the bed is a bloody booger that someone had left and had dried and had not been cleaned off. GROSS. 10:30 rolls around and the people above me, continued to make noise, jumping bouncing, dropping things on the floor. I picked up the phone to call the front desk and of course it’s on the same wall as the outlets and it doesn’t work. I look at my reservation and there is no phone number to call the front desk. So I have to call Motel 6 reservations. The friendly representative sent me a text with the front desk‘s number. I called the front desk and apparently they went upstairs and told the people to quiet down because at 11 o’clock at night, there was finally no noise coming from the room This is why I always go to ABB first.

First room they gave me wasn’t cleaned after last guest left. They didn’t have any other single rooms so they gave me a double with stained towels and sheets so thin that you could see the print on the mattress through it. Was cheap, but not even worth the low price.

I did not stay because the room it’s was filthy. It was a non smoking room but smelled of smoke and the lady told me she could do nothing because the room next door was a smoking room. There were people loitering in the parking lot. When we pulled up to park there were several people sitting in the door way of there room yelling to people in the parking lot and yelling at one another.

Direct tv was the worst . Multiple issues existed and never solved. Door lock system kept deprogramming. Pain in ass system. Flooring was absolutely dirty. Leaving black residue on socks and towels used to clean.

When we arrived at Motel 6, the clerk immediately warned us that there was nothing we could do if the room were not to our liking. He was quite friendly about it, but we were left with a sense of what we could expect when we opened the door. The first thing we noticed was that the bed had obviously been slept in. We pulled back the covers to find that the flat sheet was stained. My husband sat on the other bed, and it sank with his weight (and he is not a heavy man). It looks like the room hasn't been dusted in months, nor had the floors been cleaned in some time. The towel rack was broken, the TV had been left on, and there were gnats all over the windows. The windowsill was caked with grime. The smell in the room was off-putting, and the shower appeared to have never been cleaned. We spent about 10 minutes in the room before deciding to check out. We lost the money we paid for the room, but no matter. There was no way we were going to stay in a room that looked so ill-kept. Shame on Motel 6 for such a standard. When we checked out, there was another attendant there. We told him about the condition of the room. He made no effort to apologize or accommodate us (just a worker bee). Just said, "Okay". Seriously? If you're even thinking of staying here to save a few dollars, STOP. Spend the extra to ensure the room you stay in, the sheets you lie in, and the shower you step into are up to code.
