I had a wonderful stay here and was impressed by how much it exceeded my expectations! The room was amazing, with a stunning ocean view, private balcony, and unique peeping tom shower window. The dark, vibrant vibes and wicked furniture added to the charm. The bed was comfy, and the cool atmosphere was perfect for relaxation.
Diane was incredibly nice and assisting. Funny enough, she had a familiarity with my family, which made me feel right at home. The complimentary bottle, snacks, and drinks were a great touch.
However, my experience with the bar service was mixed. The lady running the bar was a bit abrupt when I tried to redeem my complimentary drink voucher, and her comment about tipping was unnecessary. The drink itself was strong, but could've been sweeter.
On the bright side, the young lady who assisted her was super kind and made up for it. Overall, I'd say the service, atmosphere, room, and amenities were excellent. I'd definitely recommend The Waves at Cane Bay to others, but maybe just be aware of the bar service.
