How do you describe a hotel with all of the amenities you expect, but with the family like feel of a bnb....Home 2 Suites! From the moment I walked into the door, I felt welcomed. I was greeted with, Hey Glenda, I spoke with you earlier today. I'm glad you made it safely. Every staff member was courteous and welcoming. Every day I spoke with the General Manager, who was not hiding in the back office, but was front and center every day. I loved it. Every morning I was greeted by he and at least 2 members of his staff when I came downstairs to a hot ready to serve breakfast that varied each day. Every evening I was welcomed back to the property by a smiling front desk clerk. My grand children enjoyed the pool. Every day I promised myself that I would hit the gym. And every evening I enjoyed a spacious studio suite that was equipped with a microwave, refrigerator and sink. When I say that it was a thoroughly enjoying stay, I mean it. I would definitely stay at the Home 2 Suites in Poughkeepsie again. And I can't fail to mention that the Hilton site offered fantastic Flash sales on bookings that gave me a great price. And it was a convenient ride away from each of the 3 JW Bethel sites.

Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Poughkeepsie. The room was spacious, modern, and very clean, with plenty of room to spread out and relax. We especially appreciated the in-room kitchen, which was thoughtfully stocked with dishes, glassware, and a full-size refrigerator—great for longer stays or just having the option to keep snacks and drinks on hand. The staff throughout our stay were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made check-in and the overall experience smooth and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was also a nice perk—about what you’d expect for a free hotel breakfast, but fresh, convenient, and a good way to start the day without having to go out. Our only minor drawback was that the shower water pressure was a bit on the weaker side. It wasn’t a major issue, but something worth noting. All in all, it was a comfortable and convenient stay, and we would definitely consider returning in the future.

The main reason I chose this hotel was because of the pool. I actually left early because they closed the pool. When I left, the arrogant manager sorta laughed and said they he could open the pool for me as I was on the way out. Earlier in the day, the front desk said the pool would be closed all day, that’s why I left. The pool is closed usually after 10:00pm till the next day which is plenty of time to treat any pool. When pressed about why the pool was closed, he said he closed it because there were too many kids in the day before, what? And then when I left, I went to grab a coffee on the way out, and they forgot to make any, so there’s that! I would appreciate a refund, thank you!

This hotel was surprisingly fantastic for the price! The check in was easy and the front desk staff were so helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and immaculate. I visited several week after a back surgery and the mattress was amazingly comfortable. Would surely visit again!

Stayed at this hotel for one night-our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The property was well maintained and in close proximity to many restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was sub-par, with empty coffee carafes and grumpy morning staff. Aside from this, our stay was pleasant.
