Upon arrival our room was a muggy 74 degrees (the hall thermostats are sat on 77) and our tv wouldn’t work. The bathroom ceiling had mold all over it, asked for towels 3 times before having to just go to the front desk and get them and the pancake machine was down. Overall we wouldn’t stay here again due to the multiple issues

While the hotel was nice, the staff were pretty monotone- not a lot of energy or smiles at check-in. The breakfast area was very small and got crowded quickly. The outside pool was nice! But the inside pool was very small and the towels were never refilled.

I get the whole minimalistic concept for Tru by Hilton, but this room was so minimalistic that it was uncomfortable. It was way too cramped for our liking. Very clean. Very nice soaps and lotions included. But the shower heads let out a weak stream of water. I do appreciate the fact that there is no carpeting on the floors! No musty smell! Overall though, not my cup of tea because of how cramped the quarters were. It was so uncomfortable. We were in a queen room.

Great place to stay for a couple nights. Great location in Destin. The staff were friendly and helpful. We liked the water bottle station and ice machine near the lobby. The floors looked like they weren’t swept though. Overall a nice place to stay!

Nice hotel. Very clean. Breakfast was nice, but have had better for sure. Odd how a new hotel has no microwave in rooms. My room, had very very low pressure. And this wasn’t due to a packed hotel as I showered at night once and at 5am. Safe area for sure and good locatuon

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was so friendly and our room was clean. Right next to a Walmart, which is convenient. And across the street from the beach entrance. Would definitely stay here again.

Booked here because of the indoor pool for New Years week. Our room was clean and the fact that there is no carpet in the rooms is a plus. No one sleep well all week because of the beds were uncomfortable. Towels are offered at the indoor pool. There are only 2 washers and dryers offered on first floor only. They are card only and over charged my account more then once. And strongly advise to watch front loader as it doesn't always disperse any water or enough to resolve laundry pods. Staff was friendly but most do not speak or understand English. Not very sound proof as you will hear and feel every door opening and closing, if someone knocks within a few rooms you will think it is your door. And if you have young children they will get a sex education real quick if the next room decides to get busy. Breakfast was as expected for a low standard continental breakfast. Eggs and sausage were very rubbery so recommend staying with the waffles. It is dog friendly so be prepared for dogs barking because they are left alone, fresh pee in hall ways and even though there are 2 dog waste areas with bags there will be poo next to them and everywhere else. There are plenty of games in the social area and it is a nice place to gather outside of your room.

The bathroom room had lots of beard/hair trimmings on the sink and shelf above sink. Pillows were flat and lumpy - definitely time to replace or at least wash them because they smelled like head grease. The sheets had pills all over - and seemed like the cheapest sold on Amazon. Definitely NOT cotton. Super disappointing overall.

I would not stay at this hotel again. Extremely loud hallway. Room next to the pool with screaming kids. Wet hall from pool people. People commiserating in hall having full conversations outside my room. Person across the hall constantly opening the door and letting it slam close each time starting at 6am each morning. I couldn’t sleep past 6am. We had no toilet paper. My husband asked twice at the front desk for a roll. I texted for a roll. Finally, a roll was delivered an hour later. I had to use paper napkins from the breakfast area as I couldn’t wait an hour after asking 3 times.
