Beyond amazing stay at the Marriott in St. Maarten — truly the best customer service I’ve experienced at any hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The rooms are gorgeous, modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, with stunning ocean views and great amenities. The gym is large and well-equipped, and the pool area is absolutely beautiful — the perfect place to relax. What really made this stay unforgettable was the staff: - Kevin at the pool was always smiling, warm, and genuinely interested in how our day was going - Alexis at the pool bar was so friendly and attentive, always making sure we were having a great time - Jean Claude crafted amazing drinks and made every interaction fun - Niobi at the Restaurant felt welcoming and inviting every time we visited - Antonio and Shatijah at the front desk were incredible — professional, kind, and helpful - Dane the bellhop remembered our names and greeted us with such positive energy - Shadira, the hostess, was so warm and pleasant - Marla, the concierge, gave us the best recommendations The team went above and beyond to make my mom feel like a queen on her birthday — from the perfect drink to a delicious red velvet cake delivered to our room. It was such a thoughtful and special touch. This stay was truly unforgettable. Can’t wait to come back!

Overall, I was highly disappointed with this hotel. On a positive note everyone was very nice and sweet who worked there, and the rooms were fine. But that’s where the positives end. The food across the whole restaurant was absolutely disgusting. We spilt club sandwich every day bc it was the only safe thing to eat. The service was sooo slow and we had to wait for 3 hours to even have them clear our food by the pool. This was also after asking numerous times for them to clear and bring our check. Also the location of the hotel is very remote leaving you basically stranded to o to eat there or take a $50 taxi across the island fo go to a restaurant. We could see that the hotel was trying to make this more of a resort feeling but the activities were very limited and did not enhance the experience. Finally the whole property had a very stark corporate feel which does not match the tropical island destination and does not add any ambiance or making it feel inviting to relax stay and have a drink in the lobby bar. Also while they tried to have a fun Super Bowl event, they failed pretty terribly: The television kept crashing, the food took over two hours to arrive, and then was burnt and our nachos basically were cheese on pita chips. So while they are nice and try hard this property is definitely now worth the money for the experience you get!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The property was well maintained and my room was luxurious. I especially enjoyed the sunrise yoga session. The instructor was amazing, making sure I had the perfect start to each day while on vacation. The staff was all around very lovely. I would recommend this hotel for couples, friends and families.

The room was beautiful, the staff was friendly and welcome, but I was very disappointed by some aspects of my stay, I only was there for 2 days. They didn’t remove the cup from my welcome drink and when I moved it outside my room it sat there until I left even though they came for turn down service and to clean my room since I was clearly finished with it. I also asked the housekeeping for an extra qtip when she came for the turn down and she handed me a cup and clearly didn’t understand English, just a bit disappointing. Also, they didn’t give me slippers and when I was I was told they ran out of them. I find that hard to believe. I had called twice and then after almost an hour they called back to say they ran out. At breakfast at the buffet they didn’t get my drinks to my table in time for my meal either and other customers said that was typical. I loved the hotel, I’ve been coming to st maarten for years and although the property was beautiful I have stayed at many JW marriotts and this one was about a 6/10 when the brand is usually a 10/10.

Every part of the JW Marriott St.Martin experience was exceptional. The staff at this resort are what make it that way. They are truly the best in the entire Caribbean and we have been to almost every island so can say this with thorough travel experience. The food is exceptional, the rooms are exceptional, facilities are all clean and well maintained. We went during the busy Christmas and New Year’s period and even with the resort sold out, you could always find a chair by the pool, they never run out of clean towels and you feel like you’re a special guest. Thank you to everyone at JW with special call outs to Stevenson, Anaika, Kevin, Leann, Dane, and Panurdang who made us feel extra special.
