Breakfast is really nice! Reception staff is very helpful and friendly. We booked a room with double bed, it is clean but too small for 2 ppl, no space to open our luggages! The wire of electic boiler is too short that i need to place it on floor. Nevertheless, overall it is satsifactory~

We arrived earlier than check in time and our room was ready which was brilliant. Not only that we got upgraded to an apartment for no extra fee! The apartment had a spacious and clean bathroom with hair and body wash provided. The kitchen had all the utensils you could think of. The room was clean and the beds were ridiculously comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was our of this world! Juice, tea and coffee, pastries, cheese & ham with some salad too. Plus a yoghurt and cereal bar with nuts and honey etc. Absolutely brilliant. The breakfast sitting area was quite small for all the guests (maybe a suggestion for the staff to sit guests at tables instead? It looked like 1 person was taking a table for 4 at times). All that said, 100% recommend to stay as a stop in Reykjavik. If I could give 10 start I would. Staff were very helpful and welcoming at all times. Brilliant all round!

Certainly I have stayed in some pretty seedy Hotels around the world during my lifetime. On a scale of 1-10 Hotel Fron rates as a 6 in my opinion. The Hotel has sadly become a little “Old and Tired” and whilst clean and fairly comfortable, overall the only great thing is it’s convenient location and it’s budget rates. The continental cold style Breakfast provided by the independent restaurant next door to the hotels guests, was fine enough with cold sliced commercial style meats and cheese slices etc The coffee however was dispensed from press down vacuum style coffee jugs and I think just a quality instant coffee. There was a small selection of fresh fruit, muesli a toaster etc. Again on a scale of 1-10 a 7 at best. Sadly. the charisma of one of the receptionists was like that of an Icelandic codfish. He clearly did not like interaction with any member of the general public. He is in the wrong job I think. Returning to the rooms. “Very Basic” and the tiny bathroom only had Body gel dispensers,towels and a hair dryer. Nothing else what so ever. Our room looked out to a back street. Our room had no net curtains so all of the neighboring properties could see into our room when our curtains were open. The said was true of our being able to look into some of the neighboring buildings windows too. Whilst sleeping in our bed, a wooden framed canvas picture crashed down onto our beds headboard and jammed itself between the headboard and the wall.

This hotel is located in the center of all stores and restaurants in Reykjavik. Everything we needed was in walking distance. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a hotel, which was amazing! The space was clean and very comfortable. The staff was kind and very welcoming. Would definitely stay here again..and again...

Aamupala oli ihan ok, lämpimiä ruokia ei ollut, mutta leivänpäälliset oli riittävät. Sijainti oli hyvä, kaikki kävelymatkan päässä. Huoneessa oli huono valaistus. Tilava huone joka sijaitsi sisäpihalla toisessa rakennuksessa. Huonekerrokseen pääsi hissillä, mutta huoneeseen päästäkseen piti vielä kulkea pieni portaikko, mikä oli vähän hankalaa ison matkalaukun kanssa.

Loved our stay here! The breakfast was amazing!!! And the location couldn't better!! The room was spacious and had more space than we needed. It was so nice to have a couch to relax in after walking the sitting. Parking is limited, so if you'd like to reserve a spot, reach out ahead of your stay to ensure you have one if you have a car. I loved not having to worry about finding a spot on the street. We were on the 2nd floor overlooking the street and the room was very quiet and the view was fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel!!!
