We had a wonderful experience at The Retreat at Anna Maria Island Inn. The staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous. The room was spacious and clean, conveniently designed which made our stay very comfortable. The location was excellent. Just across the street from a beautiful stretch of beach, it was exactly what we wanted. Would love to return in the future!

Absolutely loved the room and that it had a little kitchen area. The gold finishing touches, bed, side…everything was incredible. This was a very last minute booking and was so happy to have found it. I just wish the walls were a little thicker because I could hear the neighbor, haha.

Clean room, nice staff, great location. On the other hand very uncomfortable bed and horrible pillows, bathroom window not frosted and faces street, no amenities and patios all face each other. When you first arrive the reception area is not near address on booking so it is hard to locate, and no views from room.

We were “upgraded” to Anna Maria Beach Resort due to a plumbing issue, which we initially appreciated. However, the room was not as clean as expected. We were tired after traveling and chose not to bring it up at the time. Around 4:00 AM, we were abruptly woken by a very loud noise coming from within the walls. It sounded like a plumbing or water-related issue, and we also noticed the faucet wasn’t working properly. The noise continued for nearly three hours before finally stopping. Unfortunately, between the noise and my dog barking, none of us were able to get any rest. While the location is great, this experience made for a very frustrating stay. not worth what they are charging. Don’t call yourself a “resort” if you don’t have room service or any dining options. At most, I would pay $300 a night

I would not recommend this place. The one positive is that its in a great location The pool is dirty and extremly hot There is no key for the room, you need to use a code which is constantly not working The deluxe room is EXTREMELY small. There is no space to put anything. We kept hittin our legs onto the bedframe since you can beraly walk around NO mini fridge in a hotel near the beach! Just insane. Shower definitely needs a deep cleaning. The lotion was super disgusting and old came out like cottage cheese. Our cleaning person replaced the towels and left our room open. We were shocked to come back to our room being open to the public

Room is so cool with shiplap and subway tile shower. Very clean and all the amenities you need. Directly across from a beautiful white sand beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Don't have any complaints!

Our room had no beach view which was fine access to beach was right across the street that was fine..refrigerator was naking obnoxious noise all night and no microwave to hear up left overs..found that strange..but everything else was good.
