The room we rented was not the one we got. We didn’t like the bed being right up next to the air conditioning unit. You were not able to get out of bed on the left side. Parking area sucks. But clean.

Stay was a series of hits and misses. Hits included the fancy coffee machine and water bottle filling machine in the breakfast area. Snacks and bottles of complimentary water in the lobby. Pleasant staff. Location of hotel to the beach. Misses included tiny “suites” room (#323) loosely called a suite. Carpeting in hotel should have been replaced 20 years ago. Tiny balcony with tiny plastic chairs. Lack of parking. Lack of restaurants within walking distance. Overall our stay was ok, but not sure we would return to Fernandina Island.

They are really trying to keep lipstick on the pig. Breakfast was no better or worse than any other continental. Private rooftop was probably the coolest thing about the hotel. Local is cool but there are newer places on the west side id probably stay at next time. My biggest complaint is the old, hard mattress and other cheap dirty furniture. Otherwise the room is setup weird. The larger TV is in front of a couch NOBODY wants to sit on, and the one for the bed is tiny. Oceanfront fees for trailer park digs basically.

Breakfast was really great ! Staff was very polite and always helpful ! Room was very clean ! As far as beach view it was not what I expected! I could only see the Ocean and no beach at all ! I was on the 2 nd floor room 220! But you do have access to the beach only a few steps from the building!

I liked the room. Like the layout of the partial view balcony, which had a bed near the door, the bath and in a separate area- the pull out couch. It provided some privacy if the pull out couch was used. If it were my property, I would spend $100 per room for a foam mattress topper. The bed was rock hard. I would spend another $100 per bath, for a hand shower to replace the very high mounted sprayer. If you are not 6 foot tall or do not want to wash your hair - good luck. Otherwise - I would return to the property!

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is literally steps from the ocean and a great beach bar/restaurant. It's also very conveniently located close to the historic downtown of Fernandina Beach. It's just a short drive or Uber. The only downside of this hotel is that the rooms are on the smaller side. The bathroom and shower were quite small, and the balcony barely had enough room for two small chairs. But, we didn't spend much time in the room so that was not an issue. Friendly staff. Free bottled water and snacks. Morning breakfast was pretty standard.

I only stayed one night passing through on my way back to SC. I was in a partial oceanview which was excellent! It was on the side of the hotel but the ocean is so close that it didnt feel "partial". The breakfast was kind of gross tbh (the usual weird scrambled eggs, dried out waffles and bacon, etc) but the rest of the place was nice and made up for it. Parking is free and very convenient in an attached underground parking garage, Sandbar Restaurant next door was awesome and the beach is so close you could throw a rock at it. Great place!

Nice view of ocean from small balcony on the third level. Breakfast was well-prepared with a good variety over our two mornings. Nice touch with 24-hour hot beverage machine with lots of coffe, etc. choices. Beach out front is wide and flat, perfect for all beach-goers. Staff was very nice and property was very clean and maintained. Well done! This was our first time to Amelia Island. We plan to return and would certainly stay again at the Amelia Seaside Inn!

We had a partial view and we were able to see the ocean. It was a nice room l, small but fine for us. The breakfast didn't have many options. The pool looked clean although it was too cold to get in! Also, it's not in the fine print but if you booked after Nov 3, 2025, you will be charged a $15/day parking fee.
