My stay was lovely the room needed a bit of tlc but bed was really comfortable and room was cleaned. Staff were very attentive and friendly nothing was too much trouble. This is my second stay in a couple of years and would almost definitely book again. The lift was being refurbished but was notified of this in ample time that I could have cancelled my stay but as this was not a problem for myself to climb the stairs I continued with my booking.

Had a fab stay at The Grand. Rebecca was so helpful during our check-in. The evening meal we had was so tasty and reasonably priced for what we had. Slept well on the comfy bed, two pillows provided as standard. Nice bathroom, it was very clean as was our bedroom. Breakfast was OK, I didn’t have items listed on the menu choice, but it had been a busy morning and I think the kitchen must have run out of items. All the staff were polite and helpful and coped with how busy the place was really well. Would stay here again.
