The room was too small bathroom xtra small I made reservations for a suite with a fireplace, that’s not what I was given. I was put on the second floor which was very noisy.

There really is something for just about everybody. My mom uses a walker and that wasn’t quite as user-friendly here. I would say the biggest problem with a walker, would be the elevator situation. It is a family waterpark so that means kids will run ahead regardless of who has been waiting. So there’s always a log jam at the elevator. Gets a little frustrating. My other critique would be the availability of sit down food choices. It would be great to see another restaurant. And lastly, the park is open from 8 to 10. If you’re on time for a 4 PM check-in, by the time you get to the water it’s gonna be close to 5 PM which only gives you three hours. I guess the trade-off is supposed to be that when you check out you can still continue to use the park but for us that didn’t work out. It would be great to see the park hours perhaps being 9 to 9, something that’s more user-friendly. I’m surprised that more of us don’t protest or complain about the 4 PM check-in time. You’re paying a lot of money for only a portion of a day.

We really enjoyed the Fireplace Room and the Family Suite. All of the employees were very pleasant. The activities for children were excellent. The elevator jam ups can be a little off-putting. My mom has a walker, so we had to take the elevator. Young kids don't really grasp the concept of waiting your turn and not pushing into older people's walkers. More options for sit down dining would be excellent. My last comment is for the waterparks open/close time. I think 9-9 would be ideal. If you're checking in at 4, you only have 4 hours to enjoy the water. Check in and getting to the room and settling in, could take 45 minutes or so. That means you are now down to approximately 3 hours to enjoy the water. I do think it's great that you can enjoy the water past check out time. However, some people need to leave and can't enjoy that feature.

The room we stayed in had lamp shades that kept falling off, and big gap at the bottom of the sliding door letting cold air come in. The bathroom sink was way to low. The bathroom walls were chipped of paint everywhere. I didn't like that there was not a microwave in our room. The TV remote batteries were dead. And the faucet in the shower did not work well. The people above us were stomping and running back and forth consistently the entire time we stayed up untill 11:05 pm last night, then early this morning it was worse. I called the front desk last night to complain and they told me they cant do anything until 11pm. I didn't like that we were told there is an adult hot tub to relax in but when we were in it peoples kids were jumping, doing cannon balls and splashing in your face where we had to move 3 times. they treated the hot tub like they were playing in a pool. I also did not like that they only gave you 4 options for breakfast and the chocolate milk tasted like a cleaning product.

It was a wonderful stay at Great Wolf and a perfect spot for a family with young kids! Our room was on the 4th floor, which kept us away from the noise of foot traffic and activities. The tv channels weren’t working, but we could connect to apps when winding down for the day! You can tell some features in the park are starting to show their age and the seating is limited first thing in the morning when it’s the most busy, but it still remains one of our favorite waterparks with young kids!
