We normally LOVE coming to Hammock Beach and have been many times before. This trip unfortunately felt like they've gone down hill recently. From the tv remotes being held together by black tape to the staff not really being the friendliest. I would say 2 out of 10 people actually seemed happy to work there. The others felt like it was bothersome to have to speak to people. We experienced pretty unhappy wait staff and managers and no one really had that service with a smile that they used to. The front desk check in staff were great and the manager Frank was a sweetheart but otherwise we definitely missed the WOW factor that it used to have.

Great resort for families. Plenty of activities for the kids. The pool is fun with lots of areas to explore but still close enough to keep an eye on the kids. Lots of options for types of rooms to accommodate any family. We stayed in the lodge with an ocean view - loved it! I wish there were more options for dining - maybe a breakfast buffet. Maybe there was a breakfast buffet and I didn’t know? Not sure. But overall a great trip. There are some great local restaurants right near the resort. There’s also a Publix very close to grab essentials when needed. The golf course was well kept and nice. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a lovely time. Highly recommend. We will likely com back
