The room I stayed in for the majority of the time was very spacious, and had the standard amenities, such as complimentary coffee and teas. It was kept clean, but the overall feel of the hotel was that it was tired and could do with a refresh. I brought up an issue with the first room I was shown to, and eventually, the reception dealt with it in a professional and efficient manner. Breakfast was continental, with the addition of three types of ciabatta sandwiches (bacon, sausage, mozarella and pesto). Although less generous than the standard hot breakfast offered in most hotels, it was ok. Although the listing said a restaurant was available, this was not the case, as only breakfast was offered. Thankfully, the location was good, with places to eat nearby, close to the east cliff, and a 10-minute walk to the centre of Bournemouth. Parking is charged.

Amazing stay – highly recommend! We had a fantastic stay at ibis Styles Bournemouth. The room was much more spacious than we expected, very clean and extremely comfortable. One of the highlights was the kitchen area – it was far better equipped than I could have imagined, which made our stay even easier and more enjoyable. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, always happy to help. Parking was also very easy and stress-free, which is a big plus. The location is excellent – close to everything, and especially just a short walk from the beach. We were lucky to have beautiful sunny weather, so we enjoyed a lovely day by the sea. It is also less than 40 minutes from Paultons Park (Peppa Pig World), which was perfect for us. We were able to enjoy the park and still make the most of Bournemouth. Everything was perfect. We would definitely stay here again, even without a special deal, as it is absolutely worth the price. The only small disappointment was that the swimming pool was closed, and my daughter was a bit sad about that. However, the great weather and beach day more than made up for it.

No slippers, towels weren’t on the bed, but on the towel dryer, just hot water or very hot water available in the shower, no one came over last night after complaining, after shower skin is itchy, indicating some problem with the shower head or water, cold water from the tap is yellow indicating some kind of rust or sand/earth contamination, carpet is full of stain marks, crumbs or remainders from previous guests on the floor, dust on some of the surfaces, wallpapers are starting to peel off, curtains have some dirt marks, inside of the ac unit is dusty, clear sign of no cleaning for long time. Only good thing was a car park for £10, decent breakfast for £7.5pp, and beach is nearby. Never will comeback.
