Great historic hotel! Great location too. Maid service every day, very clean. Little complaint, water temperature regulation needs work. Overall will definitely stay there again.

Patricia T, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Awesome room, amazing staff, and everything was clean! Walking distance from the Van Buren which was awesome. My only complaint is that the hotel is freezing and there’s no thermometer or radiator in the room. Me and my girlies got low iron and we slept in a bile like hamsters to conserve body heat.
JULIA, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Nice towels, shampoo soaps, clean sheets. But Bed was FIRM. Felt like grandmas guest bed from 60yrs ago. Needs a comfort topper.
TIMOTHY, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The room was very quaint and we loved that they kept it very vintage. It really was a great place to stay.
shannon, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Dilapidated and lacking in many amenities: no parking, no breakfast, no (working) pool, no room temperature controls, no laundry. Multiple wacked out vagrants roaming the block including sleeping right outside the front door the ar
Vincent, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Room was very clean, staff were friendly and helpful. We had a room over the pub, 4th floor, and that location was too loud for us. The city life was loud late into the night. The walls seem very thin at the hotel, we could hear the room next to us snoring all night. Very cool historical place and I’m glad we stayed there but I’m not we would again. I barely slept, but if city noises is something you can sleep through, it’s a great choice!
Jennifer, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

That was one of the hardest mattresses I’ve ever slept on! We could hardly sleep at all. There was absolutely no room in the bathroom. I saw fuzz bunnies on the carpet. We will never stay there again.
Dannis, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

I was called for Federal Jury Duty and they refused to let me cancel when the jury duty was called off ! The reservation was made because by law I had to be in downtown per the letter I received and all the reading I did online if I wasn’t there I’d go to jail but then the hotel refused to cancel
Fawn, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Staff was nice but hotel was rundown and wouldn’t recommend for a young women alone.
Sarah, 3-night trip

4/10 Fair

Staff was very slow checking in (30 minutes) and didn't seem well trained. Rooms to hot with no control. Very dated.
