This hotel is so cute & unique. I loved all the nautical decor. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. I really enjoyed the convenience of their self serve check-in and out, but the keyless app access to the room was kind of a pain. The dog area & croquet course was really fun. And the complimentary s'mores kit with the bottle of wine made our stay! We will be back for sure!

It was welcoming for pets and fairly clean. Tons of unique amenities and having a hotel room with a separate bedroom was very nice. I wish there would have been one more place to sit inside of the room. I would describe it as decent for the price and very very quirky. The wheelhouse was not open during our stay which was a major bummer. I didn’t think to check if they were open during the week. We were there over spring break on a day they were not open.

The room was fairly clean. There was trash under the pull out sofa. The bathroom is in-between the little living room and bedroom and isn't big enough even for a sink. The place is very old and the walls seem paper thin. You can hear your neighbors conversations. Also a new building is being built next door and the noise from there is loud and starts early.There was no staff there because we booked Tues-Thurs, which meant the lounge and restaurant were closed. That was disappointing and had I realized that, I wouldn't have booked. Also there is no physical key or card so you use an app on your phone to unlock the door. This sometimes took multiple tries leaving us standing there for a few minutes. I have the newest iPhone and work in software, I would say the app is glitchy at best.We ended up not staying the second night and did not bother to try to cancel because of the time. Not mad, just disappointed.

This place is rustic but we LOVED it. The fire pits were so fun for my kids to make s’mores. I enjoyed the walk to the beach with my dog. The bed was comfy, room felt like we were staying at my family’s old cabin. Lovely vibe overall.

Unfortunately, we were not happy. I probably should be giving 2 stars. The last 2 times we the water in our shower was barely warm. When we stayed in September, we thought it was a fluke. Now we know it wasn’t. For that reason, we ended our stay early.

First and foremost throughout the entire experience i didnt have to deal with one lobby or checkin it was all online and keyless that was my favorite part. Not dealing with any customer service reps. We stayed in Cabin 8 at Anchor Inn and had such a great experience overall! From the moment we walked in, it had the perfect cozy cabin vibe. The room was quaint and welcoming, with a mini sink, fridge, and microwave which made it super convenient. There was a king-sized bed plus a queen-sized bed tucked away in its own little secluded area, which was perfect for us. The bathroom sink and toilet were spotless and looked brand new. We were pleasantly surprised to find a s’mores kit left on the counter along with instructions for the outdoor fire pit. We used it that evening and it was incredible! The whole atmosphere was amazing — other guests were outside enjoying their fire pits too, which made it feel fun and lively. There’s also a small on-site kitchen, and we ordered a salad and pizza delivered right to our room, which was so convenient. It’s pet-friendly as well, which is always a huge plus. The only downside was the cleanliness of the floors. While they appeared swept, there was quite a bit of dust under the beds and the bathroom floor felt sandy. Aside from that, we had an absolute blast. Overall, it was an amazing stay and I would definitely recommend Anchor Inn to anyone looking for a fun and cozy place to stay!

It’s not the fanciest place around but that’s what makes it cool. It’s got a rustic feel to it but in a good way. The staff was awesome! They do use an app for the door locks but will happily give you a key card if you ask. The little bar/restaurant in the lobby makes pizzas… tried 2 different ones and was quite happy with both. They seem to have a decent drink selections as well. The guys running it were awesome and friendly and even offered to bring the pizzas to my room if I wanted. They offer s’mores kits in every room and have fire pits in the courtyard to use along with sticks for the marshmallows. They have probably around 400+ dvds to choose from in the amenities room along with coffee, ice, cups, wine glasses, even appeared to be a free washer and dryer to use (I think it was free to use… not 100% sure though haha). Coolest part for me was the TV asks when you’re checking out, you let it know the day, and then it tells you that all apps and passwords will be deleted at 11am on checkout day so you can use your own apps on the tv… NEVER seen that before even in fancy hotels! Thought that was really cool! Bed was comfy, towels were nice and fluffy. There’s little stations in the hallways with extra towels and stuff if you need them. I got one of the Staterooms in the main building. They offer cabins as well in the courtyard. Cool little place on the coast. Can’t wait to come back here!
