When I arrived, the parking was not bad but it wasn’t good either. Staff were friendly enough. Room was poor. Tears in the carpet, torn up drywall, a/c worked if you pressed reset and poorly lit. Walked down stairs to breakfast and there was COCKROACH crawling on the wall! Breakfast was horrible. Talk about slim pickings. Waffles, cereal, yogurt, bananas and juice. At least have something with protein! Fire alarm system looked like it was from the mid 70’s. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough in the morning.

Generally, the room was fine. The AC had been left off for a long time, so the room smelled very stale when I first came in. The motel was fully booked; two pickups with flatbed trailers AND a semi truck with a trailer occupied many parking spaces, leaving us nowhere to park. A wild group staying in the room next to mine was loud all night. I felt a couple of heavy stomps, and someone must have jumped onto the bed enough to shake the wall at 3:30 AM. The pillows were not great. Too weary, I skipped their limited breakfast and left early at 7 AM. When I got home, I went to bed early to catch up.

First off the hotel is not ADA compliant had no elevator and if you had a first floor room you had to go down a flight of stairs. They had me on the 3rd floor and I had just had knee surgery and I asked them are you not Ada compliant, they had no idea what I was talking about. The free breakfast was toast and cereal. It looked like they converted two old rooms for the dining area. The sink in the bathroom in my room trickled at best. We had to use the tub water to wash hands and brush teeth. The mini fridge froze everything we brought. The safe in the room did not work.
