Easily walkable to Cannery Row and the aquarium. Nice view with the balcony when booking ocean view. Walls in the bathroom weren’t very clean as there were visible splatters. The bed was SO loud and squeaky when getting up and sitting down. It was also ridiculously uncomfortable and had dips in the mattress. We’ve stayed here before in 2022.. but this trip they added $16 per NIGHT just to park your car. That is ridiculous and at 2 nights for $32 plus tax?? Waste of money, when we’re already paying to stay. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone anymore.

Half way through my shower when my hair had conditioner and my body was all covered in soap it lost all water pressure besides a dribble. I waited about 5 minutes and nothing changed so I did my best to rinse but I'm pretty sure I wasn't able to fully to rinse my hair and body. That was ridiculous

There is a reason this hotel is the cheapest hotel near Cannery Row. This hotel is in need of a remodel as the rooms and furniture are in very rough shape. There are no amenities to speak of and no customer service. It's a shame because it used to be kind of nice. The only positive thing about this hotel is the location. It is very convenient to access Cannery Row if that is your destination.

The location is great. However, the property is shabby and outdated. The carpet in our room was worn/torn to the floor next to the bed. The carpet in the hallways is worse. Our room was on the ground floor facing the very noisy street so we really couldn’t sit on the patio (and couldn’t find a light out there). We somehow ended up with an accessible room, which is fine. The bathroom was clean but the hand held shower head wouldn’t stay positioned while showering.

We were supposed to get a pre-check in email with instructions, but it never came. Fortunately there was someone at the desk to help us. This hotel should be viewed as a good, clean, crash pad. The toilet paper holder was broken, the fireplace didn’t work, and the video/zoom checkout was very glitchy. The room itself was renovated recently, it seemed, but the hallways were in very rough shape.

Very nice place, i think was recently renovated. Shower had good water pressure. Was very clean upon check in. Check in is all online and when room is ready Rm # and door code was texted to me. Really didn't go to office except to get parking pass. Easy walking distance to fishermans warf and to shops and resturants on Cannery Row, and the Aqurium. I would stay here again if available on my next trip to Monterey.

Room is extremely outdated and dirty. We checked in and had to call the staff to remove a moldy curtain out of our room. Couldn’t sit outside on the deck because it was impossible to push the privacy curtains back and the screen door was busted a wouldn’t close properly. The water in the shower is slimy for some reason and the chair next to the desk was covered in stains making it to nasty to sit in. We love the location but for how much there charging now and the fact that they just started charging for parking as well is ridiculous. They need some major renovations done to the property to make it worth us going back to stay
