My partner and I both loved our stay at the Marriott King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel. There were so many wonderful things that we enjoyed. It was a beachfront hotel, so just a quick walk out of the lobby and you're at a pool with a hot tub and a little beach with a lagoon that opens to the sea. We enjoyed the refreshing water and being able to see fish in the water at our feet. There were also many walkable shops and restaurants; it's very close to Ali'i Drive where all the shops are. We enjoyed lunch at a nice grill and breakfast at a local coffee shop nearby. The views were amazing and the service was outstanding with a lot of aloha. There are also many services in the hotel, like UFO parasailing, which we did and thoroughly enjoyed. There is also a beautiful art exhibit of King Kamehameha the Great.

We arrived at 11:30 am which is too early to check in. However, we were able to get our room at that time. Unfortunately, the room had not been cleaned properly especially the bathroom which was gross. Staff was very responsive and offered to change the room or clean it again. As we had already unpacked (done before discovering the bathroom issue) we opted to keep the room. We were comped all breakfasts and parking for the duration of our stay (10 days). Hotel staff was great during our stay.
