Me and my family stayed here for a family vacation and it was absolutely perfect. The area was quiet and cozy. The pull out bed was perfect for my toddler and 6 year old. Only about 20+ minutes from the zoo. The staff was helpful as we needed them. The breakfast bar was awesome ! We definitely are already planning another trip and plan to use Sonesr ES Chesterfield again!

First impression was that the room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Lighting in the bathroom could've been brighter, it was very dim in there. Sofa bed had tears in the cushions. The breakfast was terrible, the first tray of food was questionable, the eggs and hash browns were lacking a lot of flavor. Had a weird taste too it, it ended up throwing the food away. I would give it a 7 out of 10 just because of the breakfast.

Property is very run down. Both toilets didn’t stop running. One all night long and one off and on all night long. The stair carpet is beyond gross and looks like it’s never been clean. Paint and caulk touch ups were attempted it appeared, but def looked rushed/cheaply done. Needs some major updates and repairs before we’d stay here again and we’ve stayed at other sonesta’s countless times. Def disappointed for close to $200/night.

A nice property at a reasonable price. However, the floors/ceilings are too thin. Through our stay, constant slamming and talking kept us awake, even past 1:30 AM. The front desk can’t be reached for assistance with this past midnight. If they could do something about the noise, it would be a phenomenal experience.

The most unnerving thing was that our door was open when we arrived. Plus trash bag full of trash right outside our front door the entire stay. The couch was so low I could not sit on it as an older female. Husband found used toothpick on floor also. Room was dated but it worked for my surgery date.

Staff was as excellent just dealing with a dated asset that seems to be mediocre legacy apartment conversion. So our unit was fine for our purposes as it was large (sleeping 6 with a loft) but it was over sprayed with air freshener and the furniture and carpet needed to be replaced 10 years ago. Site touts fireplace but boarded over. TV in main living area the size of a large computer monitor. Anyhow I likely would not pick this place again but for a no frills or quick layover for a large family or group it works.
