The hotel is not well kept in terms of cleaning. The room had a strong mold smell. Cleaning left much to be desired with hair on the bed and the bathroom was not really clean. Overall I was not satisfied with my stay.

1) The day we arrived the toiled in the room was sprayed with fecal matter. Not sure how housekeeping missed that. I have a photo of this. 2) The room is moldy. The smell of mold was intense. This is the second time I stay at this hotel and the smell was present in both rooms. 3) The shower was clogged the first day. We had maintainance come in and handle it. 2 days later the shower was clogged again. It took 2 days to get maintainance back. The day before our checkout we wake up and the shower is filled with white/yellow water. Front desk provided us with an adjacent room to shower in. 4) At check in, when we got into the room, we noticed the fire detector was covered with a bag. We let it be and didn’t think much of it. After checking out, the hotel charged us a $250 smoking fee when we never smoked in the room. They said that they have a photo of the plastic bag around the smoke detector and that’s enough evidence. The front desk person called me a liar when I instisted that the bag was there when we checked in and we didn’t smoke in the room. I have stayed at several Sonesta’s before. This one ruins my opinion of this brand, although I had never had issues at other properties owned by Sonesta before. Overall, terrible experience.

I have stayed at this place multiple times with no issues but this time my stay wasn't great. We have always been on the 1st floor and the rooms were decent and clean. This time I was put on the 3rd floor and the room was awful. The couch had stains, the room obviously hasn't been dusted in a while, there was a dead bug in the shower, the shower didn't drain well and the balcony door was taped with black tape and had to be opened using a lot of force. It was so loud, there was little kids running up and down the hallway and knocking on doors after 10. It was just a lot going on. Also, the trash outdoors is always running over and upon us leaving this morning someone decided to leave trash right in the middle of the hotel when you enter through the side doors. Maybe because the trash can was overflowing but that's not an excuse. With that being said I gave it 3 stars based on previous stays and the fact that the bed is comfy and clean and they had hot water. They also have a nice sitting area outside. I never go to breakfast though so I can't rate that.

They should really have breakfast. The tub had a slow drain so when I showered I was standing in water. The room was clean and comfortable. I liked the balcony too. Although I don’t believe it actually locked because I couldn’t figure out how to lock it once I opened it. I used the fitness room and the pool, loved them both. We had a great stay and would stay again.

I only stayed for 1 night. Had young kids with me tried to go to the pool way over crowded my 2 year old almost got jumped on in the water. Tried to play Cornhole 1 of the bags was ripped so that was a bust the TV cut out all night. Accidentally left some items but when called they said there wasn't anything left behind. So I'm out there. 1 guy was checking in but when he went to his room it was already occupied. The only nice things was the beds super comfy. I probably won't go back!!

For what we paid, it was acceptable but I won’t stay again. The room I selected wasn’t available because housekeeping didn’t show, which was a slight problem but not huge. The room smelled absolutely awful. The carpet needs desperately cleaned. There were still hairs on the floor in the bathroom. There’s a pool but no whirlpool as promised. I’ll definitely plan my next stay closer to my daughter’s campus, the drive, the experience and the lack of food choices negate the savings on the hotel. The blonde woman at the desk is a peach, love her.
