This is a great hotel. Upon entering, I was welcomed in by a young man who offered to hold my bags until I was able to check in (I arrived very early). The front desk staff was great. Despite being hours early to check-in, I was able to get a room immediately and with no fuss. The young man walked me to my room (the hotel itself is a bit of a maze). There was a nice courtyard and pool. The room itself was very clean and spacious. It is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in a while for cleanliness and spaciousness. The TV worked well and the restroom was clean. I did see some areas on the shower tile that could use a deep cleaning (the grout was discolored from use and time), but otherwise, it was very clean. The room smelled nice and was comfortable. The hotel is also in a great location, it is a short walk to Jackson Square and close to Cafe Du Monde and other typical, popular tourist spots. I was in town for a conference and wanted to do some sightseeing as well so this hotel was a great in between spot. Unfortunately, I had to check out so much earlier than I expected due to an emergency. I wish I was able to enjoy the extent of my stay at this great hotel! Regardless, I will be coming back to this location for future vacations.
