The hotel room amenities were actually quite good, but the most significant issue was the movement of laundry carts throughout the building starting at 4:00 a.m. My room was located on the first floor, directly above the main entrance, and I was abruptly awakened by the sound of carts being pushed back and forth numerous times. Initially, I assumed it would only happen once or twice, but the noise persisted for approximately half an hour and was comparable to having a delivery truck pass right outside the window. I lodged a complaint with the hotel, to which they responded that this was not part of their daily routine. Unfortunately, I was only staying for one night and happened to encounter this poor arrangement.
In most hotels, noise disturbances are caused by other guests; however, this was the first time I had encountered such excessive noise generated by the hotel staff themselves. What was even more disappointing was how casually the staff explained the situation, as though it were entirely acceptable. Such an arrangement is, in my opinion, wholly unacceptable.
Furthermore, the hotel’s close proximity to the train station, while convenient, meant that passing trains could be heard intermittently well past midnight. Consequently, I was unable to enjoy a proper night’s rest, and my overall experience was one of great disappointment.
