We showed up to check in and could not even use the front door, they are in the middle of a remodel and nowhere did it say they were. Couldn't even walk out of an evening due to construction workers sitting outside the door you had to use.

The public areas on the first floor were under major renovation. The check in area was a construction jobsite. There was no warning of this on the Hotels.com website. Hotels.com should do better. That said, once over the shock of checking in onto a construction site the staff was great. Very accommodating, friendly and professional. Outside of the construction work the hotel was excellent and we had a nice stay.

The hotel was under major renovation in the public spaces and potential guests were not made aware of that before booking. The hotel public spaces were very dirty, expected to eat in a nasty conference room where a guest brought a huge dog into the breakfast space, no services such as restaurant or bar was available in common spaces. No soap was left in the room and the most annoying was issues with no television service for three nights. Contacted front desk several times concerning the television service and asked for compensation and all I received was, “sorry”.

Staff were unprofessional. Eating their meal while checking in guests at a make shift folding table work area. There are renovations of the lobby happening- but travelers would only know if you inquired directly on Hyatt web site. No mention of this on the hotels app. Lessons learned. Breakfast was served in a make shift torn up meeting room that was accessible by walking outside and around to the back of the building. Please check ahead of time where ever you plan to stay!!

The breakfast was rather poor due to the construction at this location. The breakfast room was shoved into a room that was hardly big enough to hold the folks that were in there, and due to the chairs in the height of the table, I felt I was at the kitty’s table for Thanksgiving dinner. My room was extremely clean and well appointed, however, the air conditioner was real loud and kept me up most of the evening. I tried to turn it off, but it got too warm and stuffy in the room.

We have stayed there many times some for our casino trips and other when my love is in the hospital.. It’s ALWAYS wonderfully clean , great staff and I know Its a safe environment when traveling alone. The breakfast is excellent , just can’t wait for the construction to be completed and see what the new look looks like! Great job Hyatt!
