The property is lovely, scenic in beautiful surroundings. We stayed in a comfy double room for 1 night which was fine and we appreciated the amenities in the room (iron/ironing board, bottled water etc). It was generally clean, with some minor points. The soundproofing isnt great as you could hear people in the corridor and the neighbouring room but thankfully it was a peaceful night. The staff were friendly and overall it is a nice Hotel and I would stay again. We were dissappinted that breakfast was unavailable in the morning as it was fully booked. We did ask the day before and were told there was no need to book and to just go to the restaurant in the morning. We understand it was Mothers Day that morning but we should have been told to book a table for breakfast. The fact that we were hotel guests didnt mean anything.

The hotel itself was great however the restaurant really let itself down. It was New Years Eve and understandably busy however we were left with empty drinks for thirty minuets and a number of other issues. I would love to stay at the hotel again because that side of it was gorgeous and well organised but I would not return to the restaurant!

Booked 3 rooms of same style for 1 night for offsite wedding. Location is idyllic. 2 other rooms were modern and spacious, our room was cosey (double sloping roof eves). Our only issue was tiny wardrobe with room safe and ironing board which would not take our wedding outfits. Light switches took a while to work out, suggest you label. Had to ask for milk but staff very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was to a high standard but pricy as you have to pay for each item. Didn’t use restaurant but Coffee shop was good. Hotel entrance is by rear car park. Had enjoyable stay and would recommend Hotel.
