The hotel was very clean and inviting. Smelled real nice too. Very comfortable room. Staff was very friendly. Only thing didnt like is having to park on the other side of the parkong lot far from the hotel. When we got back aroind 6:30 there wasnt a parking spot near the hotel. I think a lot of people parked there for the restaurant next door. But that was minor. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Front desk was very helpful at check in. I dropped my wallet upon going out and an honest patron turned it in to reception. I immediately received a phone call notifying me. They kept it safe till I arrived back. We stayed down there for Halloween, most hotels were over 600+ so I grateful to find this property at such a good price yet so close to Salem.

The room wasn’t super clean, light switches were dirty, table tops weren’t clean. We turned the shower on at the head was busted and the water wasn’t warm after letting it warm up for a few minutes. Went to the desk to ask about it and they said we had to let it heat up for 10+ min and even then it was a lukewarm shower. It was ok for the price, quiet.

We requested adjoining rooms and they were able to accommodate us there. Seems the hotel only has one luggage cart for the whole place so we had to lug 6 people’s things in and up. Inconvenient but oh well. Upon walking into our room, the light in one room (235) didn’t work, the handle on one side of the doors between the rooms was broken and nearly falling off(233), and the AC/heat unit under the window in one room had no knobs and no way to turn it on(233). The heat couldn’t be controlled by the thermostat because the batteries were dead. I was going to take the batteries out of ours— but alas, there weren’t ANY in our thermostat(235). I did call down to the front desk who were able to give us batteries for the thermostat which did get the unit up and running. There were no towels at the pool, so we asked the front desk who told us they were COMPLETELY out of towels. Our three kids walked back from the pool soaking wet because there really wasn’t another option— the towels I brought down from our room for them another guest grabbed on accident. The rooms were clean, and the pillows were nice. But the shower takes awhile to heat up and makes an awful squeaking noise when you turn it on.
