Just step away from the airport. Room is clean and the facilities are fit. Noise from plane is not at all. Room temperature is comfortable in the early winter. Great place to stay for early flight or late arrival.

Good for an early flight

Very good location for Edinburgh airport. Our room was quiet as we were in the last room at the back away from the lifts and the rooms above the bar. Managed to find a trolley at the hotel, so we could easily transport our 3 massive suitcases to the terminal.

I always stay at the Moxy before flying and have probably had 10 stays if not more. Great location for getting to the airport and very cool bar/lounge area in the evenings. Friendly staff and decent rooms.

Typical airport hotel; it was generally okay but it was a little worn in bits, the typical result of transcience. On the night we arrived late, the restaurant/bar area was mucky; the result no doubt of a busy night but it was disappointing/icky. The room was perfectiy good/generally clean (typical built up grubbiness on bathroom tiles) for an overnight stay. The location however, is great; walkable from the terminal, near the hire car location and with easy public transport.

Lovely hotel, very convenient for attending an event at the Highland Showground. A little busy on check-in, but staff were doing their best and had all 3 desks manned! Room was very warm, too warm for me, so I had to open the window, which was fine, but a tad noisy with the airport being opposite. I couldn’t work out if the air con was working properly or not, but I managed to get the room to a comfortable temperature for me. I didn’t use the bar or order any food so unable to comment on those. Overall a good stay, and would definitely stay here again.

Even though I received an e-mail from Moxy via Hotels.com stating that I could check in earlier than 3 pm if rooms were available, I was told at the desk that that wasn’t true because I was not a Marriott Bonvoy member and that I needed to wait until 3 (this was at 12:30 pm). I paid 3.50 for a cup of tea and waited around another hour until there was someone new at the desk. She told me the same thing, but then offered to sign me up for their membership program so she could give me a room early. The room was very clean and comfortable, and it is a short walk to the terminal (10 minutes with luggage), which was great. There are not many food choices nearby, and the food at the restaurant downstairs was pretty bad. The burger was dry and rubbery. I did not have time before my early flight for breakfast, so don’t know if that would be any better. Overall, I would stay again if I had an early morning flight like I did but would try to venture farther for food.

The room was clean and quiet - my only gripe was that at 9.37 am , after the slightest tap on the door, the cleaner walked into the room. Why have check out at 12 (which is fab, incidentally) if the cleaner is going to enter the room so early??

Room was dirty and bar area needs refurbished. All staff were very nice apart from one bar man who was rude and needs to learn to smile. Food was awful, the dish I ordered was missing a key ingredient and was barely edible. It’s a good location for Edinburgh Airport but pricey for what it offers.

The room was clean, however someone in another room had left their tray of half eaten food outside their door which remained there for the duration of our stay. It would have been good if a staff member had checked the corridor and removed ,it wasnt very nice walking past a cold half eaten sausage etc. More regular cleaning of tables in the bar area is needed too.
