Ponte Sant’Angelo is beautiful bridge that leads to the dramatic Castel Sant’Angelo fortress, where you’ll find endless photo opportunities across the River Tiber. However, while the bridge has 5 arches now, only 3 of them are Roman.

Pincio Terrace is a popular viewpoint that showcases several iconic landmarks despite not technically being on one of the renowned hills of Rome. From this terrace, you can look out all the way to the dome of St Peter’s Basilica on the northern side and the Esposizione Universale Roma district to the southwest.
Taking panoramic shots of the city from this point is easy, although you may have to wait your turn. The best photography spots are often quite popular with travelers. You’ll be able to experience all of this yourself just east of the Piazza del Popolo, from which you’ll find a staircase up to the terrace.
