"The hotel exceeded our expectations, our room was clean, comfortable and had a lake view. The staff was kind and professional, especially Georgina, who helped us find an excellent room after the first one they assigned us only had a partial view of Lake Balaton. The SPA was also great, but what really impressed us was the abundance of varied, special and delicious foods. I would rank the culinary experience, what we had in the hotel into the top five out of the hundreds of hotels we have stayed in worldwide over the decades."

"The staff were very polite and friendly. We were impressed with our room size and layout. The hotel grounds were well kept and the spa facilities were clean and working well. We enjoyed the selection at our evening meal. All in all, it was a perfect weekend getaway!"

"The hotel closes at 8pm. No staff are onsite after that. You are supposed to receive a text with instructions to a lock box. I arrived 7.45pm. Staff had gone home early and the manager "forgot" to text me the lock box code. Manager did not answer the emergency phone, Expedia tried to contact the hotel, no answer to their team either. Fortunately another couple arrived and I gained admittance. A quick survey of reception I located my check in details and a room key. If arriving after 8pm I would give this hotel a miss. There is an abundance of hotels in the area"
