"Two blocks from the train station and the bus terminals, very easy to take a day-trip. The hotel is big and the room is spacious, much large than a typical Japanese hotel's. It is in the area with many restaurants. "

This stay comes with so many extra amenities such as free yamata rental, complimentary sake, public baths etc. Also excellently located close to the station. We felt relaxed and at home our whole stay. It was genuinely one of our favourite stays in the whole of Japan. Special shout out to Karen who went over and above to help me try and get through to my airline to change a flight! "

"Great hotel in Takayama that is not too far from the station or the local areas that you would want to visit. Staff were helpful and very polite. We had a car and the use of the hotel car park was convenient- there is a small fee to pay but your space is reserved throughout your stay. Breakfast is part continental part Japanese. Would recommend the hotel if you stay in Takayama. "
