Me and my daugher stayed in that room for spring break. I'd say it was mostly clean except there was hair from the past stayer in the master shower. I did not use the guest bathroom for we only needed one. The vending machine downstairs was out of order had to go out the building for drink's and food. The matresses weren't the best quality either the master bedroom was quite hard and the fold out couch bed matress was very thin from my daughers words but overall I'd give it a average from the bathroom to the vending machine to the bed's.

Patriots Inn is a good reliable place to stay if you're looking for convenient, inexpensive lodging in Williamsburg. The staff was friendly attentive, the room clean, and the furnishings relatively comfortable. The full (though small) kitchen is a nice perk, but plan to bring your own coffee (what was provided was undrinkable) and pack a frying pan if you want to cook breakfast. (The ancient nonstick pan in our unit had shreds of toxic material flaking off.) Note — they charged us a "resort fee" of $11.20 per night. This was not mentioned at check-in. It apparently covers the pool (not open), the exercise room (small, and free at other hotels) and the game room (???).
