The location and views are of course spectacular, but at these rates the room should at least be average and this was not.

The lodge is right in the heart of Yosemite and an easy stroll to amazing waterfalls. The setting is nothing short of breathtaking The staff was lovely too. But the room itself was not clean or comfortable. It was stuffy, the mattress was old, the cleaning crew left garbage from the previous guest and the bathroom was a little icky. It’s a shame because this place could be an absolute treasure with a big of TLC.

It needs to be updated; the rooms are VERY outdated. There was literally NO hot water to shower. None!!

Room was warm and co y when we walked in. It has a 70s cabin vibe which is retro and cool. Location is amazing. Only draw back is the hot water in the shower comes out cold warm to be that nicely. Wife was not happy about that and you go to make the shower a 2-3 minute event.

The location is absolutely perfect! You are in the heart of Yosemite Valley with easy access to shuttles. We are a bit disappointed with the restaurant, the prices were very high, but the quality was just OK. The staff were great, always friendly and helpful. Our room was adequate, but not as clean as we would have liked. There were cobwebs, hairs in the bathtub and shower and makeup on the bathroom counter. They sent someone to clean it up very quickly. All in all great location and adequate lodging, on the fence if I would go back.

Very Old and dirty room, with below basic amenities. The AC was making noise all night long, we couldn’t sleep at all. The only advantage is that it is located inside the park, that’s all. Otherwise, it is not worth the money at all!

We have stayed at the Yosemite Lodge for years - it is somewhat rustic but exactly what we expect. The food choices in the Base Camp eatery could improve but what they have works for the people who visit in the off season like us. The menu at the Mountain Room this time seemed a bit too off.

Wish there were microwaves in each building, but overall it was a cozy and nice place.

Only positive is the location. Rooms are very dated, they do not have thermostats, just extra blankets and portable heaters. No amenities - no breakfast, no microwave, no indoor pool or hot tub. Very expensive considering. Did appreciate outdoor tours there, especially with your guide Deano.

Very cozy cottage like stay. Would recommend for people looking for a stay in the park there a fridge but no microwave. If you need one you can use a communal one in the front desk building.
